Obituary
Passed away peacefully at Chancellor Park on December 25 at the age of 85. Predeceased by his parents Ambrose and Gertrude Abbott and siblings Walter, Ambrose Jr., Richard, Daisy Martin, Beatrice Hunt, and Annie Cook. Left with precious memories his wife of 65 years Barbara Abbott (nee Morgan), his children Donna (Steve Porter), Jeanette, Elaine (Kevin Bursey), Sharon (Doug Milley), and Derek (Bonnie), 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren, and a large circle of extended family and friends. Following the family’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family funeral will follow. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in Art’s memory would be appreciated.
So sad to hear of Arthurs passing , he will be missed. Although I only knew him a short time , his love for his family was there every day , no matter what . He was Arthur ‘ Wonderful” Abbott and smiled whenever anyone said it. Thoughts and prayers are with you all. May your memories keep you strong.
