Love Lives On
Those we love remain with us
for love itself lives on,
and cherished memories never fade
because a loved one’s gone.
Those we love can never be more
than just a thought apart,
for as long as there is memory,
they’ll live on in the heart.

To the Trask family,
The very sad news that Mrs. Trask had passed was not what I expected to hear yesterday. I’m so sorry for the loss you must feel.
She and Mr. Trask were the best neighbors I could have wished for when I moved here. They were always so friendly and welcoming. Every time I was there for a visit, your mom would tell me some of how the family was doing; she was very proud of you all.
When they moved to WR, it felt empty around here; now, it feels even more so. I will certainly always fondly remember her and her quirky sense of humor!
Please give your dad a big hug for me.
Percy. Doug and I are so sorry to hear of Audrey’s passing. God Bless you and your family at this sad and difficult time. We remember all the laughs we shared at Chris and Maureen’s house years ago. Thank you for being a good friend.

To Clarice and family
So very sorry to hear of your mom’s passing . Know others are thinking of all of you as you lay your love one to her final resting place
Whenever, we were visiting NFLD we always popped in (mostly “unannounced”). Aunt Audrey always had the biggest smile as she would rush over to give us a hug and ask how we were doing and what the rest of the family was up to. After a short visit we were always invited back for a typical Newfoundlander’s meal – Fish n Brewis, Fisherman’s Brewis, dried Caplin on the BBQ – sometimes some moose or whatever she could pull together to please our family! Lucky for me I love all that too – especially with scrunchions!
She would tell us how Byron, Clarice, Tony and Joanne were doing! Brag loving about her grandkids and great grandkids! She was very proud of all of them!
But, my very first memories are from when we lived in St John’s and she would come over to babysit us (not sure how she managed that with 4 young kids of her own). She taught me how to play cards, crazy eights, snap and solitaire! To this day, I still love playing cards!
She also made the best squares. Mini coloured marshmallows with chocolate and Snowballs. I could have as many as I wanted.
Every year she sent me a Christmas card (even the years I didn’t send any) Love Aunt Audrey & Uncle Percy! I’m going to miss that ……
My condolences to her beautiful family. I know she will be missed deeply!
Love you Aunt Audrey ❤️
Our sincere condolences. Thinking of you as you go through this most difficult time.
Byron, thinking of you as you mourn the passing of your precious Mom. May Mrs. Trask rest in peace. HUGS
Sincere condolences to the family –
every time I would pass a bingo hall or drive by the “heights” as we called it I would think of Mrs. Trask (that was all I ever called her)- she always referred to me as her “little bingo buddy”
