Mom was a very kind and nurturing person. Mom loved to welcome everyone who came to visit and would make them feel at home. She enjoyed the company of others, loved a good joke and lots of laughs. She was a good storyteller, and many enjoyed her stories. We will cherish the beautiful memories we have of her. “Rest in Peace, Mom!”

Cremation has taken place.

A celebration of life will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to the Alzheimer Society.

I grew up just door away. I knew them as Mr and Ms. Brown, Jaunita, Ryan, Morgan, and Gerald. Many days eating lunch at her house, and going on camping trips with Ryan. Lots of childhood memories. Ms Brown was the sweetest, kindest, and just all around wonderful person. I remember how she would laugh cause I would eat anything you put in front of me. My sincere condolences.

To all Bernice’s Family
I am so sorry to hear of Berniece’s passing. I met her as a neighbor in Manuels but got to know her through Girl Guides with Theresa in Brownies. How very loving and attentive she was, joining in all her activities and supporting her. She was admired and respected with her nurturing nature and joyful presence. No doubt many were touched by her kindness, a life well lived. She will be remembered fondly.

I was sadden to read that your mom has passed, she was a very welcoming lady, she was the definition of what a “Lady” is. I think about your Dad, he must be devastated he had only love for her,, you could feel it if you were in their presence, I send my condolences to the family. I lost my mom two years ago suddenly and there won’t be a day that Bernice’s family won’t think of her. Life has now changed forever, I’m still trying to adjust to the loss.
