Neville, Marilyn and Family. We are so sorry to hear of Wallace’s passing. We have fond memories of him and Wilhelmine over the years, may they rest in peace together again. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

To the Collins family and especially to Perry and Neville, childhood friends who were so good to come to extend sympathies at the losses of our own parents not long ago. Sandra and I only learned of your Dad’s passing yesterday, and we want to extend our heartfelt condolences. The Collinses were good neighbors to the Stevensons long ago, and the relationship left lasting memories. Dad even learned to smoke salmon in part for “Wall”, to pass on to other ship captains. Very sorry to hear of your sad news, and our sympathies and prayers to all. – Chris & Sandra

Our condolence to the Collin’s family.

Neville, Marina, Perry and families,

We were shocked and saddened to hear of Uncle Wallace’s passing. I have nothing but warm memories as a boy of staying with Aunt Wilhelmine and Uncle Wallace. He was always very kind and generous and I always looked forward to seeing him. As an adult, I learned to admire his humble nature despite such a storied career, and can appreciate the love he had for his family. Our world is a little smaller today and our thoughts are with you all.

Neville, Marina, Perry and your families,

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all through this heart-breaking time.
Personally, I’ll always remember Uncle Wallace as a loving family man whose presence was enormous. He, like your mom, had a heart of gold, and was well loved by all who knew him.
Besides his deep love for his family, he loved the sea and outdoors. It really was a part of his soul and he could never be away from it for too long, even if it was in his backyard garden.
Our family was lucky to have spent time with him and Aunt Wilhelmine. We looked forward to our visits and your parents always made us feel welcome. There is little that will ease your pain right now, but knowing that he is with Aunt Wilhelmine may bring you some comfort.
Thinking of you and sending our deepest condolences,
