Obituary

Passed peacefully away on March 2, 2020 at her home, Carmel Rita O’Leary, aged 73 years, in the presence of her loving husband Edward Patrick O’Leary.  Predeceased by her parents Annie Mae Walsh and Frank Broaders (Bay de Verde), step-father Thomas Walsh (Bay de Verde) and sister Martina Noonan.  Also left to mourn daughter Constance O’Leary, and son Terrance O’Leary (Karen), sister Kathleen Walsh (Pat), niece Rita Cull (Henley), nephew Blair Walsh, and three grandchildren Timothy, Vanessa, and Kirsten O’Leary.

Cremation has taken place.  Visitation will be held at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Wednesday, March 4 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., and Thursday, March 5 from 6-9 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:45 p.m. Flowers gratefully accepted.

Please except my deepest sympathy at what i know is a difficult time for you all. Words are poor things when we suffer the loss of such a fine lady as Carmel THE EARTH HAS LOST BUT HEAVEN HAS GAINED A RAY OF SUNSHINE .

My Thoughts and Prayers are with The O’Leary Family on the lost of a Dear Wife, Mother, Grandmother and |Friend to all. Even though its been years since I seen Carmel when I seen Manny We always talked about her. .She was sick for so long, Now she is free of pain and is gone home with all of our love ones gone before us.. Fly high now with the angles,God Bless .
