I am deeply sorry for your loss. Your mom treated me like part of the family. I have wonderful memories of spending time at your house and chatting up Carmel and Aunt Helen. Your mom was always so sweet and kind. I admired her sense of adventure and zest for life. She had a great sense of humour and the patience of a saint! She was a large part of my teenage years that I look back on with many happy memories. I hope it brings you comfort to see her spirit lives on in all her children and grandchildren.
Love Jeannie, David & Family

Sincere sympathy to the entire family at this difficult
time. I first met Mrs. Sharpe many years
ago when her children were attending Holy Spirit School..
Such a gracious and beautiful lady.
May she rest in peace.

The Sharpe Family & Loyola Traverse,
Sincere sympathy to your entire family! We visited your mom on Topsail Rd. quite a few years ago. She and her sister, Helen, invited our late aunts, Mae (Traverse) Philpott of St. John’s and Clara (Traverse) Macklin of Philadelphia – your mom’s first cousins- for a visit, while Clara was ‘back home’ holidaying. It was such a great pleasure to meet and greet with such a wonderful person.
My dad, Jack Traverse, your mom’s first cousin as well, also visited Carmel when we were living in CBS, NL. They had so many shared memories of their home in Coachman’s Cove, White Bay, NL.. Again, we so enjoyed your mom’s kind and loving welcome.
At this sorrowful time, we pray that Carmel’s soul and all the souls of the departed faithful, may rest peacefully.
Sincerely,
Joe & Cousin Irene (Traverse) Pumphrey
