Passed peacefully away on February 18, 2025, Carol Pinsent, aged 75 years.
Predeceased by parents Clement and Dora Yetman and sister Sheri Dawn.
Leaving to mourn Lucky, her cat and most loyal companion; sons Robby (Kim) and Jayson; granddaughters Kalista, Brooklyn and Kaitlyn; brothers Gerald (Jennifer Perry) and Paul (Brenda) and niece Cassandra (Billy Hasson).
Carol was creative, intelligent, stylish, light spirited, independent, and an avid animal lover. Her gardening skills were second to none; she loved the challenges of working in stained glass or creating paper mâché mummers (each having a unique personality); and she couldn’t resist rescuing abandoned furniture from the side of the road to work her magic on. She was employed as Food and Beverage Manager for the Sarnia Golf and Curling Club and retired in 2013 to return home to St. John’s to devote her time to caring for her mother. She was deeply loved and will be forever missed
At Carol’s request cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation. A celebration of her life will take place at a later date.
My deepest condolences to Carol’s family and friends. She is certainly gone too soon. I have wonderful warm and cherished memories of Carol over the last 40 plus years She was a kind person and a sensitive soul. She was a very talented crafter. and generous with her time. . I remember her making plush toys for the SPCA by the bagful.
She returned from Sarnia to help care for her mother, Dora, to whom she was devoted. She seldom missed a day of being with her mother and bringing her something home cooked
Missed very much. RIP
