Elaine, carolyn and donna and all the families.
It is with regret that I have to tell you I am unable to attend the funeral of your dear Mom. I have a few health issues that I am contending with, the worst of which is swollen feet and ankles. I have diabetic neuropathy. It worsened this past couple of days, to the point where I have no shoes that will fit on. It saddens me to tell you I won’t be there. I wanted to hug you all to me and tell you once again how very much your mom adored each one of you. I hope I can get a copy of the service. I will remember you all in my prayers. God bless you all and as you carry on with your lives, remember we will all meet again one day.
All my love and respect, my husband Ben joins me in saying “God bless you all”.

And she loved being at any gatherings where there was music and dancing – a great Decker trait – where family meant everything and played an important part in her life. She will always be remembered and deeply missed. May you all find comfort in knowing that we all share in your sorrow. Family and friends are here for you all during this difficult time. She had a wonderful smile, beautiful twinkle in her eyes when she’d sit and chat. We laughed many times over a funny joke or story we shared. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all of you.
