To Nick and all Cathy’s family, I am so sorry to hear of your sweet Mom’s passing. We had so many laughs at the common room in the Arts Building at MUN where we congregated for coffee every morning. May her kind soul rest peacefully. 🙏

To Nick and Cathy’s family, I am so sorry to hear of Cathy’s passing. Cathy is someone I will never forget. I met Cathy at Woodford’s Comfort Manor. She was one of the sweetest ladies I had ever met. She would always yell out and say hi to me every time I visited my mother at Woodfords. Cathy was such a caring and loving friend. Mom was across the hall from Cathy at Woodfords. She was so kind to mom and we knew we could count on Cathy to give mom a sweet talk when mom was upset. She treated everyone like she knew them a lifetime. We were so great full for everything she did for mom. She loved her family dearly and Nickolas was her pride and joy. RIP Cathy and I will cherish our friendship forever.

To Cathys family – My thoughts & prayers are with you during this difficult time, May she Rest In Peace,

I am saddened to hear of Cathys passing. I knew her from MUN and she always had a smile for everyone.. What i remember most is her laughter…such a jolly spirit. My sincere sympathy to her son and all her family.

Cathy was always so kind to me. I visited Nick many times growing up and every time I was greeted with a caring smile. She treated me like her own and always went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable. Although I had not seen her much these past few years, I will always remember her fondly and I know she will be missed dearly. To Nick, and all of Cathy’s other relatives, my heart is with you during this difficult time.

Sincere Sympathy to Cathy’s family on her passing. Thoughts and prayers are with you all. Treasure your beautiful memories to help you through the days ahead.

To Nick, Marg, John, Susan, Jennifer:

My sincere sympathy to you all on the passing of your dear Mom & sister.
Cathy was such an amazing and brave lady through all her suffering. I remember a visit Craig & I had with her at Woodford’s Comfort Personal Home. She was so “upbeat” about everything as if she hadn’t a care in the world.. I know the many happy memories you all shared will help you get through this sad time. Nick: I know your Mom is now watching over you and keeping you safe. Fly with the angels Cathy. Love & hugs from Aunt Rose.

The Staveley family were very sad to hear that Cathy is no longer with us.I shall always remember her kindness and humanity when she worked in the English Department at Memorial University. So many students benefited from her good-humoured responses to their questions and concerns.I pray Nick and her family will have the support of knowing she was respected and loved in the academic community ,as well as in her home.

So sorry to hear of Cathy’s passing. The Phillips family has so many wonderful memories of both Cathy and Doug. We will cherish them always. Sending our deepest condolences to Nick and all of the Pitt and Murphy family.
