Born in Dunville, Catherine Moores (nee Kerrivan) passed peacefully away after a brief illness at
the age of 69.
Catherine was predeceased by her beloved mother and father, Mary and Vincent Kerrivan, and
much loved siblings Loretta and Francis.
Leaving to mourn are her daughter Debora (Brian), son Dean (Charlene), grandson Evan,
brother Edward and sister Alice, sister in law Theresa (Bill), nephews Vincent and Jeffery,
separated spouse Merrill, and other family and friends, including the residents of MJ’s Personal
Care Home.
Catherine was a kindhearted person who dearly loved and was tremendously proud of her
family. She cherished spending time with them and in recent years, she especially loved visiting
with family at her childhood family home, spending time at her daughters’, and visiting with “Finn
and the felines”. She greatly enjoyed reminiscing and storytelling. She will be deeply missed,
and will live on in the hearts and minds of all who knew her.
A very special thank you is extended to the staff of MJ’s Personal Care Home in CBS; especially
to Joyce, Marilyn, Riki, Racquel, Basil and Amanda who showed her such care and compassion
over the last few years and especially in her last weeks.
Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life gathering will take place at a later date. As
expressions of sympathy, donations may be made in Catherine’s memory to the SPCA.
