Obituary
Passed suddenly away on Tuesday, July 26th, 2016, our mother, our friend, Catherine Wadland, aged 78 years. Predeceased by her loving husband Albert. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her six children Dan (Rosalie), Carly (Randy), Alice, Randy (Jackie), Paul (Shirley) and May (Wayne); grandchildren Kayla, Jennifer, Justin, Shane, Lynn-Marie, Randy, Justin, Andrew, Katie, Krista and Jonathan; great-grandchildren Daniel, Nathan, Noah, and Finn; sisters Margo, Liz, Patsy, Bernice and Mary; brothers Jack and Edward; special friends Bernice Finney, Alma Fudge and Jeannette Burry; as well as a large number of other family and friends. Special thanks to the doctors, staff and the paramedics of the Health Science Centre. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Thursday, July 28 from 7-9 p.m. and Friday, July 29 from 10 a.m. – 12 noon. Funeral service will be held from the Carnell Memorial Chapel on Friday, July 29 at 2 p.m. with interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in Catherine’s memory can be made to The Diabetes Association of Newfoundland and Labrador.
