Obituary
Passed suddenly but peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre at the age of 82, Charlie Hanrahan. Leaving with precious memories and a lifetime of happiness, his wife of 60 years, Alice (Ford). Also missing him are his cherished family: John, Dianne Mills, Charlie and his wife Denise. Forever loved as the lights of his life, his six grandchildren: Nick (Nancy), Lucas and Amy Hanrahan (their mother Kim); Marcus Mills (his father Jim); and Katie and Will Hanrahan. Also left to mourn, his surviving brother Jerry (Doreen), the Hanrahan and Ford families as well as many family and friends who enjoyed his company and good humour. A special thank you to Dr. Andrew Hutton and Bev for their care over the years, as well as Dr. Pace and the ICU team. Due to COVID restrictions, a celebration of his wonderful life will take place at a later time.

My heartfelt condolences to Alice and the Family- Charlie was a great friend and we often enjoyed each others company and mutual respect. He was particularly helpful supportive as a neighbor when our children were small for Linda when I was pursuing my seagoing career. He loved family, and the simpler things in life- He will be sadly missed. -Great Guy!
