Chesley Randolph "Randy" Mercer

Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones at Glenbrook Lodge on June 22, 2020 at the age of 72.  Predeceased by his parents Chesley and Beatrice Mercer, partner of 41 years Reid Touchie, siblings Ronnie Mercer, Sylvia Mercer, Billy Mercer, Sandra Mercer and Reg Mercer, and faithful canine companion Lady.  Left with full hearts and amazing memories his siblings Douglas (Angela), Diane, Peg (Lloyd), Rosalind, Phyllis (Chris), Bibs (Robbie – deceased); sisters-in-law Diane and Joan; the Touchie family in Ontario, close friends Marilyn and James in Nova Scotia, and many nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.  The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Tiffany Village and Glenbrook Lodge for their excellent care over the years. Due to the current public health restrictions, a private family service will take place.  Flowers gratefully accepted, or donations in Randy’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Newfoundland and Labrador.
