Obituary
Passed away peacefully on Monday, February 27, 2023 at the Palliative Care Unit, L.A. Miller Centre, Clarence Miller (Mac) of Portugal Cove, aged 79 years. Predeceased by his parents, Wallace and Edith Miller; wife Phoebe Miller; sister Felicia Miller.
Leaving to mourn is his daughter, Wanda (Chris); son, Blaine (Karen); grandchildren, Daniel (Buddy), Shauna (Jo), Sarah, Claire; sisters, Lola (Gary), Yvonne (Ed), Annabelle (Alec), Valerie; brother-in-law, Roger (Jocelyn); sisters-in-law, Ruby and Maxine.
Mac had a full career with Newfoundland Power as well as being a lifelong member of the Portugal Cove C.L.B., serving as captain for many of those years.
Special thanks to the amazing and attentive staff of the Palliative Care Unit, L.A. Miller Centre.
Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Rd. on Thursday, March 2nd from 2-9pm. Funeral service to take place on Friday, March 3rd, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. from the Carnell Memorial Chapel. Interment to follow in St. Lawrence Anglican Cemetery, Bauline Line Ext., Portugal Cove.
In lieu of flowers donations in Mac’s memory may be made to The Children’s Wish Foundation.
I was shocked and saddened tonight to learn
of Mac’s passing.. My deepest sympathy to all the family. May time ease your sorrow and beautiful memories bring you comfort and peace..

He was a wonderful person and I have many great memories of he and Phoebe when we visited them in Portugal Cove or they came to Gander. He was one in a million and will be greatly missed.
