Deepest condolence. Clyde was a great friend to my father. David Edwards.
Clyde’s love of sharing music was passed on through his family, and will continue far beyond his own lifetime. I only knew Clyde in his days at Winslowe Ridge, where he and my mother Mary often played games of crib. He was a true gentleman through and through. My condolences to his family and close friends.
Sincerest condolences to the family. I have such fond memories of choir parties, BBQs, and sin alongs around the piano. Rest in peace Clyde.
MY Uncle Clyde: loving husband, devoted hands-on father, funny beyond measure, fabulous dance partner to a wide-eyed starry niece, and an entertainer who turned every gathering into a celebration.
He left laughter lingering in every room, music in every memory, and love woven through the lives of everyone lucky enough to know him..
Our memorable phone conversations, even after ‘Uncle ‘ moving to his retirement digs, will be etched in my mind forever.
Uncle Clyde Ava Shalom R.I.P.
To the Johnston family. I am so sorry to hear of Clyde’s passing. I have a lot of fond memories, going back to singing in the junior choir at Church of the Ascension and also in the senior choir along with my mom and dad, Jim and Emmie Gosse. Reconnecting later years while Gary directed St.John’s Choir and Clyde joined as a member. Sending our deepest condolences and may you find peace in your many memories. Sorry I won’t be able to attend the service. Maxine Winsor Emmie Gosse

So sorry to hear of your Dad’s passing.
To Gary, I wish you the contentment of knowing that you made time for him, always in your busy schedule and that you made sure he felt well loved and that his musicality was so well celebrated.

Too Gary and family , lm so very sorry to here of the loss of your dad. My best and really my only memories of him were when I would see him playing for the singing legioneiers on remembrance day as I have participated in for many years as a member of the clb band. He seemed to be very much in his element playing a keyboard , iorgan or piano and no doubt passed it on to you too Gary.
Gary, Jeff, Diane & Family, please accept our sincere condolences on the passing of Johnny. Johnny, Carmel, Isabel & Bob were amazing neighbours when we moved to Horwood St. in 1971. We were only there for a year & a half but have many wonderful memories. Memories hopefully will help ease your pain at this most difficult time. RIP Johnny.
