Daisy was a long-time employee of Dunn’s Pharmacy and Parkdale Pharmacy where she met many people over the years.  She was known for her kindness, compassion and generosity to others.  Daisy spent the last few years residing at St. Luke’s Home where she received exceptional care from the wonderful staff on Pleasantview Terrace. We are thankful to all the staff at St. Luke’s, including Dr. Colin Penney, and are grateful for their kindness especially during Daisy’s final days.

I was so very sad to hear of Daisy’s passing. I didn’t know her well, or for very long but I came to look forward to seeing her as much as my own Mother, who Daisy shared a room with in Saint Luke’s. On Saturday’s I bring my son (who has Down Syndrome) to visit his Nana and Daisy would light up when she saw him! She would cradle his face in her hands and tell him how sweet he was. She touched our lives and I’m happy to have met and spent time with her.

Please accept my condolence on the Passing of Daisy – I knew her a long time ago when she was with Dunn’s Pharmacy.
Sincerely, Joan (Wadden) Hann

The Tuck Family, so sorry to hear of Daisy’s passing I worked with Daisy at Dunn’s Pharmacy and Parkdale, for years, it was joy to work with someone who enjoy her work and was wonderful with the customers, my dad cut his finger many years ago when we were at Dunn’s and Daisy put a bandage on his finger and stopped the bleeding I told daisy she should have been a nurse, my dad never forgot her kindness. God Bless and rest in peace Daisy and my love to the family, take care Geraldine Fitzgerald
