Passed away at home surrounded by her loving family at the age of 89.  Predeceased by her husband William, son Paul, daughter Elaine; brothers Herb Pelley, Don Pelley; sister Gladys Cooper.

Leaving to mourn her children Keith (Karen), Barbara, Lynn Whelan (Sean), Gail Johnson (Joe); grandchildren Krista Fowlow (Kurt Sullivan), Scott Fowlow, Adam Johnson (Samantha Basha), Bradley Hookey (Kim), Megan Fowlow (Chris Evans), Laura Butler (Brian), Corinne Hookey, Emily Johnson (Andrew McFadyen), Tyler Whelan (Eilanda), Katelyn Johnson (Justin Bennett); great-grandchildren Clara, Rayne, Winter, Olivia, Felix, Louis, Ruth, Walter, Arnold, and Cameron; brother Graham Pelley (Pat); sisters-in-law Betty Pelley, and Dorothy Pelley; brother-in-law Bill Cooper; son-in-law Cyril Hookey.  Daisy will also be missed by a circle of extended family and friends.

The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to Dr. Heather Woodland, Twyla Savoury, and the Palliative Care Home Team for their exceptional care of Mom.

Cremation has taken place.  Family will receive visitors at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Tuesday, December 27 from 1-2pm, with the funeral service in the Carnell Memorial Chapel at 2pm.  Interment to follow in the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Daisy’s memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.

My deepest condolences to Daisy’s family. I remember when Daisy worked at the Janeway. hospital for many years.
Many of these years were on Unit 3E with very young babies. I worked with her when she was in Nursing Administration. She was a very competent ,dedicated nurse & a pleasure to work with.

P.S. I can remember the day your mom and dad brought Gail home from the hospital……an interesting experience for an only child!!…. How we all crowded around the car!!! Yes, she was cute!!!
