I’m so sorry for your loss. I hope she is comfortable in her heavenly home . I remember Dallas from way back when I would shop at Woolworth on Water Street and needless to say that wasn’t yesterday. Dallas was an absolute delight to deal with and I would always say hello and have a little chat anytime I was at the store.
To me she will always be unforgettable.

Aunt Dallas,
I’m going to miss you more than you will ever know. You were there every day of my childhood. I was so lucky to live Nextdoor to my Godmother for 16 years of my life. You were like my second mom, always there when I needed you. I fondly remember the countless Christmas brunches we would have and missed them terribly when we moved. Even after we moved you were still there for graduations, weddings and babies. I love your spunky zest for life and how it didn’t matter where you went, you knew someone. Your clothing style was always smart and trendy, even in the tube top you would sport on a sunny afternoon. How many people can say their aunt rocked a tube top! I thought the world of you and still do. I wished I could have been there today when they laid you to rest, the distance between us was too great. My kids will not know you like I knew you, but you will live on in the stories I will tell them.
Glenn and David thank you for sharing your amazing mom with me, I will always cherish the memories we shared. Just know that we love you and are here to support you, even from afar.
Love you and miss you always Aunt Dallas.

To the family of Dallas, I express my sincerest condolences. I was truly saddened and shocked to hear that she had passed. Having worked with Dallas at the Kenmount Restaurant for years in the early 80’s it wasn’t hard to see why she did so well in the service industry.. Dallas was our mentor, I looked up to her. She was always so professional and beautiful. Her kind nature and approachable demeanour made it easy for us to go to her for help when we needed advice. That kind of hard work and dedication is rarely seen these days. She truly was one of the best … Even though we only saw each others a few times since those Kenmount days , we always hugged and reminisced about the fun times. Please know that she will always be remembered with love . And take comfort in knowing that Absent from the earth, Present with the Lord . She’s in great company today .
Aunt Bonnie, I am so sorry to hear of your sister’s passing. Milo and I are sending you all love, support and big hugs.

Uncle John, Glenn and David.. My heart is full of sorrow. You are all so special to me and in my thoughts, especially snuggled under the crochet blanket that Aunt Dallas made for me. I hope she knew how much I loved her. I wonder if she realised how many times I get called Dallas when I come home. I can’t ask her now but I bet it will still happen. And it won’t make me sad. It will bring great memories of my special Aunt who I’ll never forget.
Love Always, Karen (Biddiscombe) and Warren Carroll
