Obituary

Passed peacefully away surrounded by his loving family at Pleasantview Towers on January 9th, 2025 at the age of 85 years.

Predeceased by his parents: Wallace Joseph and Lucy Agnes Parrell; brothers Harold (Geraldine), William, Vincent and Wally; and sister Jeanette

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, his wife Mildred (nee Burke);

children Margaret (Neil), Jackie (Ed) and Glen (Marie); grandchildren Kelly Ann, Lucy, Kimberly, Joseph and Olivia; great-grandchildren Charlie, Jack, Owen, Avery and Jaxson; siblings Florence (George) Powell and Margaret Parrell; and a long list of nephews, nieces, family and friends.

The family would like to express sincere gratitude to the doctors, nurses and staff of 1 Southeast and 2 Northwest of Pleasantview Towers for their outstanding care and support.

Cremation will take place. The family will receive visitors at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Tuesday, January 14th, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday January 15th at 11 a.m., from The Carnell Memorial Chapel, with interment to follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Daniel’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.
