Obituary
David Lansdell passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre in St. John’s with family by his side.
Leaving to mourn; his wife, Janet Blackwood Lansdell; his daughter, Dana (Peter Havel); grandchildren, Emily and Chloe; brother, John (Marlene); sisters-in-Law, Beverley Blackwood and Debbie Okamoto (Bob); as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Predeceased by his parents John & Betty Lansdell and Eric & Alma Blackwood.
We would like to thank the doctors and staff of 4SB with special thanks to Kerry and the nursing staff for their exceptional care.
To the end, Dave’s humour always shone through. He had many special friends throughout his life too numerous to mention, you know who you are. He always said he was gifted to have family and friends around. He was a member of the Masons, Shriners and Order of the Eastern Star.
Donations in Dave’s name may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
Celebrations of Dave’s life for family and friends will be held June 25th in NL, and in Ottawa, ON, at a later date.
