Today as family, we have the heartbreaking task of informing all of our loved ones and friends the passing of David Bruce Taylor, who left us on May 25th at the age of 55. He is predeceased by his brother Terry; his grandparents; and his step-father Declan Wall.
Leaving to mourn with loving & happy memories are his mother, Ethel Wall; his father Otto Taylor (Step-mother Daisy); girlfriend Angie; his daughter Emma-Grace; his daughter Samantha (grandchildren; Sofia, Blake & Owen); his sister Janice; his step-brother Stephen (Rosalee); his step-sister Wanda (Craig); his step-brother Robert; his step-sister Catherine; his nieces and nephews and a large circle of family and friends too many to mention.
David was a welder by trade and worked various jobs over the years, but his favorite was Bursey’s Manufacturing. He was a hard worker and a jack of all trades, tinkering with his car, truck, or motorcycle and most recently building a deck and garage at his camp.
David’s happy place was at his camp spending time with his side-kick Emma-Grace, his pride and joy, cooking up a scoff, for anyone who would eat it. He dearly loved his family and spending time telling them stories with great enthusiasm. David of course loved telling stories to anyone who would listen.
Many thanks to St. Clare’s Hospital, for taking such good care of David during his last few weeks.
Honouring David’s wishes, there will be no funeral. If so desired, donations can be made in trust to Emma-Grace Bastow, to the email of jptaylor565@gmail.com.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Carnell’s Funeral Home, Freshwater Road, St. John’s, NL.
Brothers share a special bond that can never be broken. Brother of mine, beyond what lies ahead, in memory’s light your love lives on instead.
