Sandra and family- so sorry to hear the news about David .Many years ago David offered me a job as a co-op student and then a full time accounting position working with his brother Colin at Baird and Baird Chartered Accountants. He was my mentor in the insolvency world- great to work with . He will be missed but never forgotten. Long may his big jib draw.
Sandra and family,
I was deeply saddened to learn of David’s passing. I had nor seen him in the past 10+ years following my move to Corner Brook, but I have quite fond recollections of your family sailing at RNYC and of my work with David on professional files over a span of 30 years.
Conversations with David were always animated and interesting. He enjoyed a long career as a chartered accountant and as a St. John’s businessman. A life well lived indeed!
Fair winds and following seas, my friend..

So sad to hear of someone you knew having passed. In our early years and practising law on water Street and ultimately duck Street, my partner and I would often see David and have a cordial chat, usually at the bank of Montreal. Always interesting always informative and a great storyteller.

Please accept my condolences on the passing of David. We were friends mostly on the tennis Court for a number of years. Speak of Dave often as that will help keep his memory alive. May he rest peacefully.
Sandra….You have been on my mind since I heard your sad news..
I’ll always remember David as a true gentleman, quick to smile and always would engage in pleasant conversation. I can hear clearly in my mind his voice on the phone, or at your door saying “Darling, that’s Carolyn for you”. Never did he call you Sandra, always Darling.. I hope this, and all of your wonderful memories bring you a few smiles as carry on without him.
Most sincerely, Carolyn
