Obituary
It is with tremendous sadness that the family announces the passing of our beloved Deanne Spurrell, who passed peacefully away surrounded by her family at the LA Miller Center on April 2, 2025., at the age of 71 years.
Deanne was predeceased by her mother Beatrice, father Sam, sister Debbie, brother Ian, as well as many other special relatives.
Leaving to mourn with broken hearts is her husband Ken, her daughter Tracy, son in law Ronnie, brother Campbell, and her precious grandson Mason who she adored with all her heart. She also leaves to mourn many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
The family would like to extend our sincerest gratitude to Dr. Stewart Rorke, the kindness and compassion shown to our family on this journey will never be forgotten. Also a special thanks to the staff of the Palliative Care unit at the LA Miller Centre.
In keeping with Deanne’s wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation has taken place.
If tears could build a stairway, and memories a lane, I’d walk right up to Heaven and bring you home again.
I worked with Deanne for many years in Revenue Processing and have lots of good memories, she did the work of three people, she was the best at what she did.. I wanted to share a little story with her family as I mentioned we worked together and after a decade I moved on from Revenue Processing and moved to various jobs throughout CRA and every single Christmas up to when I retired she would drop of a Christmas Card to me. I told her one year that I appreciated her kindness so much. I think this speaks to the kindness that was a part of her spirit. My sincere condolences to her family and friends. May the happy memories keep her close to your heart always..
