My condolences to Denis’ family. I knew him well during his years in Elliot Lake, On. My late husband, a mining engineer, often said that Denis was the best geologist he had ever worked with. Denis had kept in touch with me over the years. I hadn’t heard from him in many months, but wanted to let him know about the death of a mutual friend here. I ended up googling his name and was shocked when his obituary came up. I’m wondering if he had been ill.
So sorry for your loss.
Sincerely,
Hellen Cameron

We’ve known Denis for many years, ever since the days of Ryan’s Fancy and those great days in the Strand Lounge. He would always request The Badger Drive. Since then we’d meet him on many occasions around town. He always had a story to tell of his latest escapades and travels far and wide.
Our sincere condolences to all his family.

So sorry to hear about Denis. Good memories and Good neighbors from the Southside Rd. My thoughts are with you, the Family, at this hard time.

I am sad to hear about this tragedy. No one better than God, understands the depth of your pain and can help you cope with your disquieting thoughts. He is called the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort. (Psalm 34:18; 37:9, 29; John 5:28, 29) Thus, may you get the strength and inner peace you need in the coming days. With all my sympathy for the loss of beloved Denis.

Donna and family, My condolences to you on your brother’s passing. May your treasured memories of times spent together bring you peace. May the love and support of family and friends be a source of strength to you at this sad time. Thinking of you, Yvonne Roach

So sorry to hear of Denis’s passing. He always had interesting tales to tell and will be missed by his fellow geologists. Most sincere condolences to his family.

I knew Denis from the Geological survey where I work, Denis always had a story to tell, a very interesting man. Deepest sympathy to his family.

I am very sorry to learn of Denis’ passing. I work on Karwood Drive and he popped in our office for a chat a few times. A very interesting gentleman, indeed. In one of our chats a few years back, I told him my young son was interested in the stock market. The next day, he came in with a small piece of paper with different mining stocks to give to my son to research!! Such an amazing gesture. I would watch him walk past my office almost everyday. I will miss that. Rest in peace.

Sorry to hear of Dennis passing ..We were shocked here in Croque on the Northern Peninsula,,We saw him many times on his visit here a few weeks ago…God Bless.
