Passed away peacefully at St. Patrick’s Mercy Home on July 22, 2022, Donald George Roberts in his 90th year.  Predeceased by his parents George and Sarah Roberts; His brother, Ernie Roberts and his sister Ruby Newell.  Leaving to mourn are his beloved wife of 70 years Cynthia Roberts (Curtis), his sons Donald George Roberts, Jr. (AnnMarie) and Kenneth Brian Roberts (Debbie).  Also left to mourn are his grandchildren Curtis (Leslie) Roberts, Cory Roberts, Melissa Roberts (Stephen) and Stephanie Baker (Greg). Leaving to mourn also, his sisters, Jean Crowther (Ed); Shirley Poirier; Cynthia King (Gerald) and brothers, Victor Roberts and Harold Roberts (Ida), as well as sister in-law Glenda Carter (Jack). Also many other relatives and friends.  The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at St. Patrick’s Home for looking after Don with such compassion and tender loving care.

Cremation has taken place.  Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, visitation will be held on Monday July 25, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.  Funeral service to be held from the Carnell Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, July 26, at 10:00 a.m.  Flowers greatly accepted or donation in Don’s memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice. 

We’ll love you forever, you will be with us always.  Rest in Peace Don.

Cynthia and Family
So sorry to hear Don passed away.
It is so difficult to lose someone you love but you
will always have the memories close to your heart.
My thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad
time.

I just heard this morning of Don passing .we where neighbors for 25 years . Don was always pleasant and loved mowing his grass or blowing the snow . My son loved him and would watch him from the window to make sure when blowing the snow he would be ok .they have both passed now and I pray they meet again .
Cynthia know I wish I was home right now to spend time with you but know my heart it with you at this time .my

Don and Ann Marie and family…I am thinking of you during this difficult and sad time. There are no words to describe the grief and sorrow when a parent dies. You now have many years of memories to cherish and keep close.

Cynthia, Don, Ken and families. We are so sorry to hear of Don’s passing. We remember him from his time living on Coronation Street. We did meet him a few times walking the park. He was a wonderful person to have a chat with and we know he will be missed by his family. RIP Don

Don was a great supporter and attended most RNCVA functions and I knew him a a proud veteran of the RNC. He will be missed at our functions , especially our monthly breakfast get togethers. May he RIP.

Condolences to. The family

Sending sincere condolences to the family of Uncle Don.
I’m so sorry for the hurt you are all feeling at this time.
He is no longer in pain and is with his other family members who passed before him.
If there is anything I can do to help elevate some pain please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Our sincere Condolences to Uncle Don’s entire family on this very sad day.
All his neices and nephews(The Newell Family) will miss him .
He was a Sweet caring and funny Uncle and we loved him dearly.
