In Loving Memory of Dr. Amandeep Garg
November 12, 1978 – June 5, 2025
With deep sorrow, we announce the sudden passing of Dr. Amandeep Garg, a devoted father, loving husband, caring son, and respected dental professional, who left this world far too early at the age of 46.
Dr. Garg was born in Ferozepur, India, and is survived by his beloved mother Shashi, his wife Tripti, and their two wonderful children, Naina and Moksh. His passing leaves an irreplaceable void in the lives of his family, friends, colleagues, and the many patients he cared for with compassion and dedication.
Originally trained and practicing as a dentist in India until 2012, Dr. Garg immigrated to Canada that same year, carrying with him a deep commitment to his profession and a dream to continue serving patients in his new home. With unwavering determination, he successfully challenged the national dental boards and obtained his license to practice in Canada in 2016.
Dr. Garg went on to become the proud owner of Northern Dental in Happy Valley–Goose Bay, Newfoundland and Labrador, where he built a thriving practice rooted in kindness, integrity, and excellence. His patients will remember him for his gentle manner, clinical skill, and genuine care.
More than his professional accomplishments, Dr. Garg was a family man in the truest sense. A devoted father, he was deeply involved in the lives of his children, offering them love, guidance, and boundless support. He especially loved playing chess with his daughter, Naina, a pastime that brought them closer together. As a husband and son, his warmth, strength, and sense of duty defined his relationships and the love he shared.
Outside of his family and career, Dr. Garg had many passions that brought him joy. He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast, often found enjoying long rides and the thrill of the open road. His love for fine timepieces also led him to be a dedicated watch collector, a hobby that reflected his appreciation for precision and craftsmanship. Additionally, Dr. Garg was an avid carpenter, often creating beautiful pieces with his own hands—a testament to his creativity, patience, and craftsmanship.
Dr. Amandeep Garg lived a life of purpose and compassion. He gave generously of himself to his family, his community, and his patients. His legacy will continue in the lives he touched and the love he leaves behind.
He will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
