Ev……We are saddened to hear of Howies passing. We were great friends back in the day since 1963 first year MUN engineering.. The days (and nights at Piccadilly tavern) we spent at NS Tech are burned into my memory. And then there was the great snail incident and our shared writing of our fav jam tune Snail Tracks in the Salad.. The hand written copy he sent me now takes on new value. We had some great times in later years laughing and jamming. Sincere condolences to you and your family.

To Evelyn;
We are so saddened by the news of Howie’s passing. We had the privilege to care for him during his stay on our unit at Chancellor Park.
We have many memories of Howie…but I believe the most vivid would be his love for music…whether on our unit or in the multi purpose room, whenever the old songs were being played….the tears would flow down his face.
Cherish your memories, and I’m sure there are many. Howie was a lucky man to have such a caring wife and caregiver .
Deepest sympathy from the staff of 2nd west, Chancellor Park.

Rest in Peace Howie your friend Ephraim laing (Jr)
