Passed peacefully away at Pleasant View Towers on August 18, 2019, Edith Tucker, aged 86 years. She is predeceased by her husband Arthur, daughter Edith Ash, siblings Elizabeth and John, niece Edith and nephew Fred. Leaving to mourn with loving memories her 3 grandchildren John (Kim), Curtis and Samantha (Chris) Hurley; 2 great granddaughters Ella Tucker and Sarah Hurley; son in law Eddie Ash; brother Will (Sharon) Bradbury; nieces and nephews Simeon, Robert, Jean, Dorothy, Shirley, Dave, Billy, Sharon, Rosie and Wendy; also, a number of other relatives and friends. A very special thank you to Dr. Jat and East 2A at the Waterford Hospital and Pleasant View Towers 2 South West, for their care and compassion shown towards Edith during her stay. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Wednesday August 21 from 7-9 p.m. and Thursday August 22 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from St. Philip’s Anglican Church on Friday August 23 at 1:00 p.m. with interment to follow in St. Philip’s Anglican cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in Edith’s memory may be made to Alzheimer’s Society.
