Obituary

Passed peacefully away at his home on October 9, Edward Warren, in his 92nd year.  Predeceased by his beloved wife of 56 years, June, in 2012.  Ed will be lovingly remembered by sons Carl (Brett) of Halifax, Scott (Philippa) of St. John’s, Grant (Laura) of Ottawa, and Mark (Leanne) of Ottawa; Ed’s nine grandchildren Hilary (David), Peter (Laura), Harry, Zachary (Sasha), Kevin, Kristina, Ryan, Jade, Edward; and great-granddaughter Aspen.  Ed will also be fondly remembered and missed by a large circle of other family and friends.  His family will receive visitors at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Monday, October 15 from 1-4 and 6:30-9 p.m.  A celebration of his life will be held at the Carnell Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, October 16 at 10 a.m. with interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road.  Those wishing to donate in Ed’s memory may do so to the Autism Society of Newfoundland and Labrador, with the family’s appreciation.  To send a message of condolence or to sign the memorial guest book, please visit www.carnells.com.

I too was very sad to hear of Uncle Ed’s passing. I liked you Dad a lot. I have fond memories of Uncle Ed and Aunt June.

To the Warren Family,

I am sad to hear that Mr. Warren has passed away, but happy to know that he lived such a long life. I know that he made the most of it! I remember him driving us to hockey practices and games many years ago, and working on the family cars of course!
