Our hearts are broken, Ed has sadly passed away from a cancer battle he fought until the very end with determination, hope, strength and a sense of humour. We’re so blessed that he wasn’t in any pain at the end and was kept very comfortable, thanks to the amazing Doctors and Nurses at the Miller Centre for their care and compassion.
Thank you to family and friends, for your outpouring of support and love, it’s what got us through this rough time and it really means a lot.
We’ll be having a celebration of life at our place on Saturday July 19th, 2025, in the evening (from 5pm to 9pm) with some food and drinks, to share a memory and a laugh, for an amazing father, husband, brother, uncle and friend.
All is welcome. Please share with anyone we may have missed. We’re looking forward to seeing you.
Love,
The Greene Family
Sending condolences and lots of love to you Donna and your Son. Ed was a great man and his talents and kindness will be forever remembered.
Donna and Chad, so sorry to hear about your loss. I had the privilege of working with Ed many years ago. He was one of the best for sure and I enjoyed his company. Seeing him periodically around the cabin over the last 10-15 years and catching up was an absolute pleasure. Such a good man both installing a kitchen or enjoying a cold beer in one.
Take care,
Harvey (Sport)

Rest in Peace Dad, my heart is broken.
You truly are the best dad anyone could ever ask for; from teaching me how to ride my bike as a child to teaching me how to drive a car as a teen, you’ve always been there by my side.
Life will never be the same without you.
I cherish our memories together, so many good times and a lot of laughter.
I am so lucky to call you my dad.
You are loved by so many because you are the coolest and nicest guy around, one of a kind.
Thank you for giving me an amazing life.
I’m so grateful I got to spend your final days by your side bringing you comfort with mom, those final moments were so beautiful and special. We’re so blessed that you weren’t in any pain at the end, I couldn’t ask for anything more.
You fought cancer until the very end with determination, hope, strength and a sense of humour. I’m so proud of you.
You will always be in my thoughts and in my heart❤️ I love you
