Eileen a dear friend and former Tourism employee you will be sadly missed by all of us whom you worked with you in Tourism..
Sometimes we crossed paths and you always won out..I know now that you were trying to set me straight especially when I was new to government methods etc..I thank you sincerely for that..Rest in peace my dear friend..Bud Vincent

I also had the pleasure of working with Eileen at the Department of Development in the mid 80’s. Eileen taught me much about being in the public service. When I think of her now, I smile. Thank you Eileen.

My deepest condolences to Eileen’s relatives. I remember many times Mom bringing us to Churchill Square to pick up or drop off Eilleen.

Our deepest condolences to you. Eileen was a wonderful person who was extremely good to us as children.

Sincere condolences to Eileen’s relatives. I met Eileen in 1972, the first day of my full time employment with the Govnmt of NL. She was always very professional and helpful to me and I remember her fondly.

On behalf of all former residents of Bishop Jones Memorial Hostel, where Eileen lived while she attended Bishop Spencer College in 1949-50, we wish to extend our deepest condolences. God Bless and Comfort you all in the days ahead.

My deepest sympathy to Eileen’s relatives. I lived in Hearts Content too and our fathers worked together at Western Union Cabke Station. I also boarded with Eileen in St. John’s for a year when I attended MUN . My husband and I moved to Ontario when we retired to be closer to our 4 sons. I was sorry to hear that Eileen passed away.
Sincerely
Ann ( Mackey) Power
