Surrounded by the love of her family, Elaine Marie (Tarrant) Roberts passed peacefully at the Health Sciences Centre on May 19, 2026, at the age of 69.
Her passing leaves an immeasurable void in the hearts of those who loved her most. Elaine lived a life marked by quiet strength, gentle generosity, and unwavering devotion to her family. Her kindness, love, and steady presence will continue to guide and inspire all who knew her.

From her school days onward, she approached life with determination and pride in everything she did. She devoted herself to operating various businesses in Salt Pond, Marystown, Placentia, C.B.S., and St. John’s, built many lasting friendships during her years in the cosmetics industry, and generously gave her time volunteering with a women’s shelter. Throughout her career, Elaine received numerous awards and recognitions — a reflection of her dedication, professionalism, and the deep respect she earned from colleagues, customers, and friends alike. No matter the role she held, Elaine’s compassion, warmth, and caring nature left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

John and I are so saddened by the news of “Auntie E’s” passing.
We will never forget meeting up in St. Pete’s beach while we were all on vacation and the over night trip to our house while the two of you were heading out on vacation.
We are so happy that we were able to be at your wedding, it was a lovely day.
Sending Uncle John hugs and kisses

My sincere condolences, Lisa, and to the rest of Elaine’s family. I was your neighbour on Parkhill Street. Many good memories of your mom from that time and I still have the shrub in my garden she gave me.

A very strong , courageous woman who loved life and people. My dearest condolences to her daughter Lisa and all of her family
Many condolences to family and friends. I got to know Elaine as a neighbour in Holyrood and we were friends for a number of years. She was indeed a dedicated business woman and poured her heart and soul into every venture she was involved with. In latter years we lost touch except for a few times and it was always good to see each other and catch up. A very sad loss, gone way too soon.
Sincere Sympathies, Dianne ( and Gerry) Carr
