Gail, Sharon, Scott and families,
We were saddened to hear of Aunt Erma’s death on Monday and sorry that we cannot be in St. John’s to mourn her passing and celebrate her life. We (Henry, Shirley, Jennifer, Heather and Stephen) have so many memories of shared times with the family at 13 Osborne Street, Hodgewater Line and at our home in Mount Pearl. Especially fond are our memories of Christmas Eve at 13 Osborne with so many family and friends, baked ham, raisin bread, salt cod and sweets. Our favourite memory is Boxing Day bowling with family of all ages and then a meal back at 13 Osborne or our house in Mount Pearl. She was always up for a game of cards, especially cribbage, and any board games.

These and many more memories all of you will have to share and bring smiles and laughs as time passes. Sending all of you our love and support.

Henry and Shirley

So very sad to her of your beautiful mom’s passing. I’m certain she lived every day surrounded by the love and respect of her family. I know this first hand Scott, after witnessing the respect, compassion and beautiful friendship you shared with my mother, Florence. Bussey. Life is fleeting, for sure. It is important that we embrace every moment to tell someone we understand and care. Today it is my turn to tell you that we are there for you. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. I’m sure Flossie and others before us are rejoicing today as heaven has welcomed yet another of God’s angels home. Rest easy Mrs. Andrews, in the gentle peace of Christ.
