Passed away suddenly on April 29, 2022, Florence Elizabeth Leah Tucker. Born May 18, 1939.
Predeceased by her parents Cyril and May Tucker; husband Norman Tucker; siblings Lillian, Robert (Bob), Dorothy, Doug, Les, Jeff, Arthur, Levi and David.
Leaving with loving memories her four daughters Norma (Wes) Tucker, Donna (Gordon) Thomas, Cecilia (Dwayne) Thompson and Roxann (Kevin/Rob) Sheehan. Her pride and joy grandchildren Wesley, Daniel, Marcus, Allan, Christina, Samantha, Emma and Taylor. Great grandchildren Stryder, Owen, Charlie, Edward and Nora. Siblings Winnie, Selina and Henry. Sister in laws Catherine, Margaret, Vera and Madeline. Very dear and caring friend Denise.
Mom will be forever remembered for her love of life. She enjoyed keeping busy whether it was a game of cards or just family get togethers. Being a middle child of a family of thirteen she always surrounded herself with people. The children she cared for in her lifetime were a big part of her life. Each and everyone of them loved Nan Flo and kept her in their lives and their hearts. She will be dearly missed by us all.
Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Monday, May 2 from 2- 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held from St. Philip’s Anglican Church on Tuesday, May 3 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow in the St. Philip’s Anglican Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 10, Portugal Cove, or Make A Wish Foundation.

Very sad to hear of Flo’s passing. I always knew Florence as ‘Flo’ as she took care of me and my brother’s for years on Old Broad Cove Road.
As I think back, I can still smell Flo’s amazing homemade bread rising in the Oven as she took care of us at my parent’s home.
And years later, how many times did I stop in to pick up clothes at her home on Bennett’s Road that Flo had fixed or sewn or a new pair of pant legs hemmed just right.
What a lovely an amazing lady!
I can’t turn onto Bennett’s Road without thinking of ‘Flo’.
Thank you so much to the Tucker family for allowing your beloved Florence to be a part of our family as we grew up.

She was always there to do whatever she could to help., nothing was an effort for her. She took care of everyone ,no matter what is was, from giving out score sheets or making sure June had a chair for her oxygen tank. Keep strong and treasure the memories. of your precious mother.
