Just learning of Frank’s passing now. We have fond memories of Frank who I first met in Norris Arm in the ‘50s on a construction site. We went on to have a lifelong friendship.. He was a good person and we will miss him.

Denise,David and Doreen,
Sorry to hear of Franks passing.Wewere neighbors and friends on Symonds Avenue many years back.may your memories give you peace.
Sincerely,
Brenda Coopet

Our sympathies to Denyse and David and Winnie. We were never a really close family, even though we were a small one, but the strong link between us was always my father Ralph. I always thought that he and Frank were more “father & son” than he and I were, emotionally speaking, because they were similar in personality and closer in age. When Ralph died seven years ago, I think it touched Frank more than it did me. Now they can start trading Burnside stories again.

Denyse and family, deepest condolences on the loss of your dad. May your good memories and the love and support of family and friends bring you some comfort at this difficult time.

My condolences to the family. Always had an enjoyable story about himself and Lar “Rabbit” Ivany in the great outdoors. .

Deepest Sympathy to the Lane Family

I was so sorry to hear of Frank’s passing. He was a dear friend of my husband George and I.

We knew Frank for many years ,he was pretty much set in his ways but i found him to be a very honest person which to me is important .His Newfy jokes especially with his accent would have me rolling over with laughter .I enjoyed going to Newfoundland to meet Frank as we both liked the outdoors so we would take in a lot of fishing also enjoying a few brews and stories .I know Frank has not been well the last few years and although i don’t like to say it ” is in a better place .He will be missed by his family and friends.May you rest in peace with the Lord Amen I will see you again someday but hopefully not to soon.

Enjoyed working with Frank. My condolences to his family. RIP Sir.

Frank and my Dad, Lar Ivany were longtime friends and hunting buddies, he was a kind, thoughtful man, after my Dad passed in 2002, he called my Mom every year on her birthday, he even tracked her down one year in Windsor, ON to do so. I am sure Dad and Pierce were there to welcome you and right now there is a cast iron kettle boiling on a pile of blasty boughs and a lot of tall tales being told! Rest easy Frank

Frank, my Dad, Lar Ivany and Percy Hoyles were hunting buddies for decades, lots of early Saturday mornings heading in the woods. Both Frank and Dad worked with NL Power, I’m sure there’s a big reunion in the sky today, three buddies together again. Condolences to Denise, David and their families, RIP Frank.

So Sorry for your loss.RIP Frank

Our condolences to Frank’s family. I was a co-worker and friend and we had many chats and laughs together. He he will sadly missed.

Frank and I go back over 60 years as friends and co-workers. If you were Frank’s friend you were his friend for life., forever loyal. He saw the world thru his own prism, without illusion or pretension., and very definitely marched to his own drummer. A dear friend that I could always count on to be there in the tough times. Finally, the pain is gone, the suffering is ended., peace has overcome all else.. Goodbye my friend. You will be missed.
RIP
