Geddis was predeceased by his parents Raymond and Grace Shiner; daughters Audrey Shiner and Cassie Currie; son-in-law Fenwick Currie; brothers Winston Shiner, Roy Shiner, and Eric Thomas; sister-in-law Marie Shiner; brother-in-law Lindy Matthews and Frank Huxter.
