Obituary
It is with great sadness, we announce the passing of Gerry Cox. Gerry lost his battle with lung cancer and passed peacefully at home on July 18th, surrounded by his girls; Mary, Kim and Lorraine.
Predeceased by his parents Irene and Gerald, brothers Alex, Ronnie and Kenny.
Leaving to mourn, the love of his life and rock Mary Powers; sons Gerald Cox and Gerald Holden; daughter Kim Cashin (Christian); his pride and joy grandson Landon; stepchildren, Bill Holden (Tammy), Lorraine Sellars, Patrick Holden, Derek Holden and Joe Holden; step grandchildren Will Carey and Andrea Holden; brothers Newmen and Paul; sister Madonna; nieces and nephews; special niece Dita and special friends Millie and Tony.
If you knew Gerry, he would always being saying something to make you laugh.
Dad/Gerry loved his game of cards and enjoyed bingo at the Legion.
He was most proud of his grandson Landon. Landon was his whole world and he would always be talking about him.
A very special thank you to Mary Powers and Lorraine Sellars, for taking Dad to his appointments and being there for him every step of the way. He loved you both very much.
No services will take place as per Gerry’s wishes.
