Gerald was one of the sweetest, kindest and most thoughtful people I have ever known. When I first got my license, many years ago, he used to advise me on which was the safest way to pull out of the store parking lot. He also trusted me enough to let me ring in my own groceries., which meant a lot to me then and still does to this very day.
Rest In Peace dear man.

There are few memories I hold of being a part of St. Philip’s Church Family that do not include Gerald with his smile, laugh and quick hug before leaving worship. I’m sorry to hear of his passing. May he rest in peace.

So Sorry, Our Thoughts And Prayers Are With You All At This Sad Time, Gerald Was Indeed A Wonderful, Kind Person, God Bless

My dear family. Gerald was my first cousin and one of the dearest people I have ever known. His smile, his gentleness, his friendliness were traits inherited from his beautiful Mother Aunt Elsie. As I said to Debbie last week, I always felt Aunt Elsie would never die while Gerald was alive. Debbie said “she will welcome him soon.” And I’m sure she, uncle Jaclk Doreen, and the rest of his loved ones gone before him will welcome him as well. The Sharpe family are loving careing people. When one hurts they all hurt. Deepest, deepest sympathy to all the family, his children, grandchildren, his siblings and dear Margie who has been by his side for many years. Hold unto all the great memories. People die physically but not spirituality and love does not. Trust in our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ who promised eternal life to all who loved and served him. Gerald was one of those servants. God bless all of you, and may Gerald rest in peace and rise in glory. Love and hugs to you all. Shirley and Charlie
