Obituary

Passed away peacefully on November 5, 2024. Gerald is predeceased by his parents Blanche and George Dewling; siblings, Gladys, Eric, Frederick, Eleanor, Derrick and Judith. Gerald leaves to mourn siblings George (Charlotte), Robert (Joy), Janet, David (Liz); sister-in-law Marilyn, as well as many nieces and nephews, special friends from apartment building, Lavinia, Richard and Paul.

Gerald (Gerry to his friends) was known to many with his Lions Club Tartan vest selling tickets at the Avalon Mall and the Regatta.

A committal service will be held on Wednesday, November 13th, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. in the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Rd.

I met Gerry through my mom, Lavinia. He was the sweetest person. Always with a smile for me. Always saying something to make me laugh. Just an amazing person. We will miss him so much. Sincere condolences to you all at this time.
