Gerald Leonard Tuck
January 14, 1934 – August 21, 2026
Passed peacefully away on August 21, 2026 in the presence of his family, Gerald Leonard Tuck, age 92.
Gerald is lovingly remembered by his daughters Heather (Stephen – deceased), Wanda (Roland), Donna (Roger), and grandson Andrew.
Gerald was predeceased by his wife Ada, parents Sarah and Alan, sister Daisy, brother Roy, and special family member Gene Codner.
Gerald was born in Hant’s Harbour, Trinity Bay and as a child moved to St. John’s with his family. As a young man, he completed studies in Business and started his career at Fort Pepperrell Air Base in Pleasantville. He continued his career in Business and spent the majority of his working life as the Office Manager with Dustbane Products. During retirement, Gerald enjoyed spending time with his only grandchild, gardening, reading, watching movies, doing puzzles and trying his hand at baking.
During the last two years of his life, Gerald resided at Chancellor Park and formed a close bond with many staff on the 3rd floor in The Morgan building. His family are very thankful and appreciative for the kindness and care he received from the staff especially during his final days.
Visitation will be held at Carnell’s Funeral Home on Thursday, August 27 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral will take place on Friday, August 28 at 2:00 pm from Carnell’s Memorial Chapel.
In memory of Gerald, donations can be made to the Canadian Red Cross.
