Obituary

In Loving Memory of Glenda Rowe

With heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Glenda Rowe on January 9, 2025, just one day shy of her 68th birthday.

Glenda has been reunited with her beloved Steve Wyatt and her devoted parents, whose memories she carried with her throughout her life. May she now find peace in their embrace.

Glenda will be deeply missed by her cherished son, Christian Rowe, who was her greatest joy and proudest accomplishment. Christian shared an unbreakable bond with his mother, who showered him with unconditional love. Also to mention Christian’s father, Stan Reardon, who was a devoted and lifelong friend to Glenda.

Leaving to mourn with profound sadness is her dear sister, Wanda Carey (predeceased by her husband, James Carey), who shared a lifetime of memories. Wanda was not only her sister but also her confidante and closest friend. Wanda is joined in mourning by her daughters, Ashley (Michael Tobin) and Stephanie (Brandon Clarke).

Glenda is also lovingly remembered by her dear family and siblings: Lorraine Lundrigan (predeceased by her husband, Bob Lundrigan), Shirley Hall (Sid Hall), David Rowe (Suzi Rowe), and Lloyd Rowe (predeceased by his wife, Joan Rowe). Glenda was deeply grateful for her siblings and cherished the love and support they shared. She especially appreciated their kindness and thoughtfulness. Along with her predeceased nephew, Glen Hall, she is lovingly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, who will cherish her memory and remember her fondly.

Glenda was blessed with the love and support of her extended family, including Anita Rowe, Sheila Rowe, John Rowe, Mary Murphy, and Raymond Carey, whose kindness was always deeply appreciated.

She was also surrounded by cherished friends who were like family to her. Bob Hanlon, Dave Byrne, Cathy Byrne, and Daphne were among those whose unwavering support brought so much joy to her life. Glenda deeply valued the presence of these dear friends throughout her journey.

Glenda treasured her family and friends above all and found immense joy in every moment spent with them. She leaves behind a profound sense of love that will forever be cherished by those who were fortunate enough to know her.

Though her physical presence will be deeply missed, her spirit will live on in the hearts of her loved ones. The family takes comfort in knowing she has been reunited with her parents and other cherished loved ones in eternal peace.

Details of Glenda’s celebration of life will be shared with family and friends at a later date.

“Forever loved, forever missed, and forever in our hearts.”
