Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Grenville James Clarke, who passed away peacefully at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital, surrounded by his family. Grenville was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Grenville was predeceased by his beloved son, Michael Clarke; his father, Grenville Clarke Sr.; and his mother-in-law and father-in-law, John and Barbara Vinnicombe who held a special place in his heart. He leaves to mourn his loving wife, Deborah Clarke, and his children: Dwayne (Tanya) Byrne, Angela Clarke, Amanda (Ian) Clarke, and Jimmy (Holly) Clarke. Cherished memories will be carried on by his grandchildren: Valerie, Blake, Santana, Dominic, Sarah, Hunter, Tyson, Garrett, Natalie, Grayson and Jaxson, who brought him immense pride and joy. Also, a special friend, Kim Snow.
Grenville also leaves behind his mother, Mary Clarke; his siblings, Karen (Glen) Lynch, Arthur (Darlene) Clarke, Roxanne (David) Noseworthy and Brian (Dawn) Clarke, who will forever hold him in their hearts.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at the St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital for their care and support. In honouring Grenville’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private celebration of his life will be held at a later date, allowing close family to gather and remember him in a way that reflects the love and legacy he leaves behind.
