Passed peacefully away on the 16th of September at the age of 73, Gwendolyn Collins (nee Lodge).
Predeceased by parents William and Gertrude, brother Dorman, infant brothers Edward and Chesley, brother-in-law Russell Janes, and parents-in-law Philip and Agnes Collins.
Leaving to mourn loving husband Clyde, daughter Tina (Scott) Robinson, son Todd (Tonya), grandson Philip, sisters Anna (Bill) Clarke, and Wavey (Jabez) Lane, sisters-in-law Elizabeth (Bruce) Collins and Marilyn Janes, brothers-in-law Norman (Agnes) Collins, Jacob (Diane) Collins, and Gary (Kate) Collins, along with a large circle of nieces and nephews. Also left to mourn are special Godchild Amanda Stapleton, Special friend Mercedes Critch, The Paradise 50+ card club, and her Ocean Pond Park buddies.
Donations in her memory can be made to the Janeway Childrens Hospital Foundation or to Ronald McDonald House Charities NL.
Visitation to be held from 10 a.m. to 8p.m. on Thursday, September 19th at Carnell’s Funeral home, 329 Freshwater Road. Funeral service to be held at St. Lawrence Anglican Church, 1824a Portugal Cove Road at 10 a.m. on Friday, September 20th.

I have known Scott and Tina for over 20 years, and I was at their wedding in 2003. I have net Clyde and Gwen a number of times since then and they are both wonderful people.
Gwen was a super nice lady and she lives on in Tina and Todd..
