To Lorne and all the Smith family Sorry to hear about Harv”s passing Whenever we stopped in to visit Harv and Barb would not let us leave without at least a lunch. They were always so welcoming and enjoyed the company. Harv loved to tell stories about where he worked and the jobs he had been on and loved talking about trouting. Sending you our sincere condolences

To my cousins and their family, we are so sorry to here of Harvey’s passing. To have lost both Barb and Harv in these trying times is so sad. Your parents were always so kind and welcoming to me. I loved sitting with Harv and talking about fishing and his experiences working around the province. There was not a sea trout safe in Spread Eagle when Harv and my dad were on the water. I remember fondly my visits to your home many years ago for Sunday dinners with Nan. I will always remember Harv with his wry smile, twinkle in his eye and kind words.

Caring thoughts are with you

To Harvey’s children, grandchildren and extended family.
I worked with Harve on several construction projects starting in the ’70’s. I was truly saddened to see his obituary in the paper and doubly so to learn of Barb’s passing only a year ago.
Sincere condolences. In friendship,
Curt Beverley and Donna

My sincere condolences to Lorne and the Smith family for your incredible loss. I will always remember what a smart, kind and gentle man Mr. Smith was and how he loved to talk about the work projects he did, the people he met, places he went, as well as his many life adventures… he sure had lots of stories to tell – always with a bit of humour thrown in. Most of all though, he loved to talk about ‘Barb’ and his family and how proud he was of you – you all clearly meant the world to him. He will be deeply missed. Rest easy, Mr. Smith.

My condolences to Harvey’s family.
I knew Harve, as his construction friends called him, since the early 70’s and made m any hairy trips across the island together, in all kinds of weather to get a couple days home.
Harve ,you are finally off the road .
