Obituary
MARTIN (nee Tricco), Helen Frances, of St. John’s, Newfoundland, formerly of Labrador City, Newfoundland
Helen passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre on February, 19, 2022. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Edward, mother, Ellen (Carrigan), father Alexander, sister Margaret (Rumbolt) and brother, Peter.
Left to celebrate her life are her three children, Anne Marie, Gail, and Edward (Lorna), three darling grandchildren, Anthony, Jenna and Jacob, brothers Edward and Joseph (Margie), sisters Mary Ryan, Louise Smith, Lillian Smith, Barb Tricco, Carol Pickford, and sister-in-law Genevieve Martin of Nova Scotia, many dear nieces and nephews and many cherished friends.
Special thanks to the doctors and nurses at the Emergency department, HSC, and to the wonderful nurses of 4 North A for their tender care of our mother during her final hours.
Thanks also to Dr. Amanda Scott and the wonderful staff of Airport Heights Medical Centre for the wonderful care given to Mom throughout the years.
Service will be held at Carnell’s Funeral Home chapel, 329 Freshwater Road, on Tuesday, March 1st at 2:00 pm. Interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Newfoundland and Labrador.
