Obituary
Passed peacefully away after a short illness at her residence surrounded by her children Bonnie and Zane, Henrietta Forbes, age 93.
Predeceased by her husband Charles Forbes in 2004. Sisters Vera (Doug) Bishop, Doreen (Ern) Pearcey, Brothers, Harry (Molly) Curnew, Cyril (Ollie) Curnew, Ernest (Madeline) Curnew, Gerald Curnew, George Curnew, William Curnew.
Leaving to mourn are her children Bonnie (Ray) Franey, and Zane (Mary) Forbes. Her grandchildren, Charlene (Damien) Franey, Jenelle Franey, Kayla Franey, Dustin (Kayla) Forbes and Dylan (Rhea) Forbes. Her great grandchildren, Mila and Suri, Ava, and Elijah. Sisters in law, Gladys Curnew and Shirley Cunew. Plus, her many nieces and nephews.
Many thanks to Dr. Jamison Mercer for his support and kindness at our time of need, and the Advanced Care Paramedics as well.
Cremation has taken place. Funeral service to take place on Tuesday January 18th, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. from the Carnell Memorial Chapel. It is by invitation only. Interment to follow at the Field of Honor, Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
No flowers by request ……. be kind to one another.

Condolences to you all. I knew Mrs Forbes, as Babe. She visited the Veteran’s Pavilion, where I worked, every single day to spend time with her beloved husband. She was proud to say she never called in sick! We suggested on day that she should take a day off and make sure she took care of herself, she replied, I am coming every day because I want to…..I guess I took my marriage vows,
for better for worse, too seriously. I enjoyed her visits, our many chats and will remember her fondly.
Bonnie and family…so sorry to learn of your mom’s passing. Losing your mom definitely leaves an empty place in your heart, regardless of age. She certainly was a beautiful lady. What a wonderful tribute to her and I especially love “be kind” … something this world needs. Thinking of you all at this sad time.
