So sorry to hear of Herb’s passing. He was such an amazing man whom I met at NLHC functions. He was retired longer than he had worked at housing but continued to come to the functions. It was such a pleasure to see him and chat to him. Herb would come to our summer burger days and our Christmas pot luck where NLHC would raise funds for charity and he would provide his financial support by purchasing several meals to take home to his friends who were unable to attend. He was inspirational man and the world was a better place with Herb. God bless you and keep you in the palm of his hand,.
Sorry to hear of Mr Longs passing. I knew him very well from my work at NL Housing. Had many conversations even after his retirement and I was still working. He would call for no reason just to have a chat. I often spoke to his dear wife Gladys as well, who just loved to share a recipe with me, RIP Sir!
Deepest condolences to Herb’s family. My Dad (Harry Lacey) worked with Herb at NL housing . They kept in touch many years after when he retired. Rest in everlasting peace, from Lacey Family
