Dear Scott, Annette and family,

Please accept my most sincere condolences on the loss of your father. I know you hold him in heart. I am sure that your memories will bring comfort..

Heartfelt condolences to the Goudie family on your loss.
Herb’s passing stirs up many nostalgic memories: from the kitchen at Johnny Power’s Hotel, to the kitchen at Jack Hender’s, to the kitchen at Lawlor’s Cabin, to the meadows of Kirks Ridge, many tall tales were born and many soldiers were buried. As my father would say after such a trip
‘ Home is the hunter
Home from the hills
With a he smelling of strong brew
And the truth is not in him’.
Rest In Peace, Herb, knowing you have left a wonderful legacy.

Condolences to the Goudie family. Herb was a good friend of my father Jack Hender. May he rest in peace.

My sincere condolences to Jean, and to the Goudie family, with whom I’ve been acquainted my entire life. I have many great memories of Herb throughout the years most particularly at his place in salmonier on the arm, and at the little cabin on back river pond. Rest in peace.
