Obituary
Peacefully passed away at the Health Science Centre on Sunday September 3, 2017 at the age of 91 years. Predeceased by his wife Dorothy and his daughter Sandra, leaving to mourn are his loving children Wayne (Janet) and Dianne Penney, grandchildren Amy, Kristian (Lisa), Krista Thorne (Justin), Michael Burke (Charlene), Chelsea (Thee), Neil and Robyn and their father Darrell Penney: great grandchildren Keeley, Rory, Jayden, Greyson and Riley, sisters June (Don), Olive (late Hayward) and sister-in-law Audrey (late Eldon). Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Wednesday from 2 p.m.- 4 p.m. and 7- 9 pm., Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at 11:00 am from Carnell’s Memorial Chapel. Flowers gratefully accepted or, donations in memory may be made to MS Society.

To Wayne, Dianne, Kristian, Amy and the Ash family, we are saddened to hear of your father and grandfather’s passing. Whenever we got together for family gatherings I recall Hubert to be a very interesting and gently man. I’m sure he is with you all in spirit. May he rest in peace.
