Passed away peacefully with her her daughter by her side at Pleasantview Towers on May 16th, 2023, at the age of 84.
Irene was predeceased by her husband William; parents Carrie and Charles Templeman; parents-in-law Albert and Evelyn; brothers-in-law Walter, Tom Baxter and Robert. Leaving to mourn are her son Terry Noftall (Susan); daughter Kathy Rodden (Steve); grandchildren Caitlin, Zachary, Mark, Julia (Mike); great grandchildren Grayson and Cohen. Irene will also be remembered by a large circle of family and friends. Special thanks to Barbara Rodden who has been a dear friend to both over the years. The family would also like to thank the nurses and staff at 2 North East at Pleasantview Towers, for their compassion and care over the past few months.
Cremation has taken place.
A Committal service for Irene will take place on Saturday, June 24th, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the United Cemetery in Upper Gullies. A reception to follow for family and friends at 115 Greenslades Rd., Conception Bay South, to celebrate Irene’s life.
As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to a charity of ones choice.

So Sorry to hear about the loss of aunt Irene. We had a great visit with her last summer at the home. She was such a lovely sister and Aunt who will be missed terribly.

Such sad news. Irene has been part of my extended family for more than 30 years and we spent many occasions together. She was truly a lovely person. Always had a smile on her face and was always up for a chat. She will be missed. My condolences to Kathy, Terry and families.
I am so very sorry we have lost Irene. We shared many chats, meals and card games over the years. I will miss her very much.
